Yes, I have been missing in action the last couple of weeks. I guess I can't call it action, because I haven't been doing anything. I haven't spent much time on the computer and I have alot of reading of other blogs to catch up on. I have checked email and checked my facebook but as far as blogs go.... nada. I finally posted on my family blog and thought I would let you all know about the new challenge I have committed to.
P90X baby!
My husband and I started Monday morning and these workouts are definitely not for a beginner, and that is just what my hubby is right now. He has not exercises since November and he is struggling with the workouts. Who am I kidding, I am too. They are tough but I am determined to get through the 90 day program and have lost 15 pounds and toned up a alot. We are following their eating schedule and it isn't bad, their recipes are yummy and I have not felt hungry once. But..... when I run (which is extra for this program, but I have another marathon June 13Th) I feel totally famished. I just don't have the energy I need to get through my runs like I want. I have 18 miles tomorrow and I have adjusted my eating a little yesterday and today to help me get through the miles.
Also.... I have booked my tickets for my two girls and I to fly to Utah for most of June, and I am SO SUPER excited. This week has been the week for Season finales of lots of shows I watch and I am so happy I have my trip to look forward to. Don't hate me cause I am a TV watcher.. I don't have much of a life since moving to Ky...

P90X is awesome! I am so excited for you to go to back home. Is your June marathon Bear Lake? I've heard it is a pretty one. Good luck with your 18 tomorrow. Have a great weekend!
I've thought about doing the p90X, I would love to hear your thoughts. there is a blog, eating binder?(sp), that had a very detailed explaination of the plan. Have a great w/e.
15 pounds! That is great! I have heard that is wicked hard. My hubby has thought about doing it. Goodlick with the running along with it!!
I don't hate - I'm right there with ya.
15 lbs is awesome!
loving the season finales right along with you.....have a great long run...you're brave doing p90x!
Janice, please post updates regarding P90X - I've seen it all over the blogosphere. I'd noticed that you'd dropped out of site after the Flying Pig - and it's been missed! Too (two) many marathons in a row??? Mark
Utah for a month? Wow...sounds very exciting!
Hope your run went well today.
I've heard great things about P90X. I look forward to hearing all about it.
Don't apologize for being a tv watcher. I live in beautiful Southern CA and I love my tv. Since having kids, my hubby and I love to sit on the couch together to watch our shows after the munchkins are in bed. Boring, I know... but it works for us. :-)
It's all good, I'm a TV-junkie too. I'm loving all the finales!
I've heard P90X is super intense. Good for you guys! And following the meal plans too... awesome. Congrats on your sucess so far. I hope you can adapt it enough to accommodate marathon training/running.
I'm a tv watcher, too, so no hate here! And Scrubs and Lost and Grey's Anatomy finales were quite good this week!
I want to see how you like P90X before I drop the $$$ to try it!
Oh I love some terrible TV too. I think I COULD be a couch potato if I let myself. I swear.
P90X always sounds wicket hard. Best of luck. It will probably make you faster!
Good luck with P90X, it is tough but awesome! I didn't manage to do it very long, but it's just my fault because I don't like working out at home. I can't wait to see how it works for you.
I'll be totally checking out the P90X after the marathon in July. I love finale week too!
