Hey there! RE your comment on Air Force... It's a GREAT race! One of my favorites. I think you still have a good amount of time to get up for the mileage! The course is VERY flat and when I ran it there were neighborhood competitions for who had the most support. That's great to have in any race! Everyone is super friendly and overall its a very fast course. As for the 50 in 50-- it's never too late!!! Especially in running! I'm actually a bit too young in the world of runners. Most runners dont try for the 50/50 until their 30's 40's and 50's. Heck, I know a 70 year old thats doing it. If it's a time issue that's ok -- you only need to run 3 days a week and once you get up to "marathon fit" just do a race once a month and you'll never have to work back up to marathon distance again! Very convenient.
