what a random thing to do.... and I did it.

My workout agenda for today was as follows:

45 Spinning (3 HBBC pts)
3-5 miles on the treadmill... ended up going only 3, had a bit of pain (3 HBBC pts)
15 min of abs (1/2 HBBC pt)
15 min on the elliptical (1 pt)
7 1/2 HBBC pts

So this morning I went to Spin class, it was wonderful, as usual. I love it. Kicks my trash. Then because it was raining outside and I am still trying to get over this cold/sinus infection I decided to run on the treadmill. As I got about 4 min in, I was feeling a bit of ankle pain again, not to bad, but I decided to jump off to the sides and massage and stretch my ankle area. As I looked down, I noticed I was wearing 2 DIFFERENT running shoes. They are both Pink and Both Asics. Oh my word, I was so embarrassed. I turned to my friend who was on the treadmill next to me and pointed it out. She claims you could barely tell a difference. What a strange and weird thing to do/happen. Only me... I swear if my head wasn't attached, I would lose it all the time.

I would never have noticed - not even on the radar.

too funny! I totally did the same thing the other day, but it was on purpose. I could only find one of each pair!

I didn't run ... found out that the injury was more severe than first thought and had to have a cortisone injection ... the doctor threw around the word "surgery" and asked me to hold off on running for 5 days. I am going to test it out on Monday!

They are quite similar I'm sure nobody noticed. A lady I worked with did that in the office once except she had one black and one brown.:0

I have done that before with Work shoes... Black shoes. I used to try on two different shoes and look in the mirror to see which looked better... Before I was a Mom.

Once I wore 2 different shoes I never did that again.. LOL!!

Never have done it running. Thanks for the laugh..

Found you randomly on the Blogspot search, but I had to comment. I've done this - RECENTLY! My husband noticed at the end of the day after I, too, was complaining that one foot was hurting (the one in the older shoe). Here's his post about me. http://hosalabad.blogspot.com/2009/08/this-is-parenting.html
Nice *meeting* you! ~Lisa C

Hi. I came across your blog via RunnerMom. I was curious about your HBBC points. And this story made me laugh. Sounds like something I would do.
