I never knew....

Started my run this morning before 8 am and the snow wasn't sticking. I headed down the road with some Taylor Swift on the ipod and made my way to my favorite out and back route. As I turned directions, the wind was blowing the snow so hard into my eyes that I had to squint to keep from going blind. I tried to hold my hand up to block the snow from my eyes, but my arm got tired. haha
By the time I turned around at 2.5 the snow was really starting to come down and was sticking nicely to the road. I was running through slush and getting all kinds of looks from the passer bys. I loved it. I loved every bit of my run today. I didn't get to hit the speed I wanted, had to slow a tad for the slippery slush but I don't care. It was so much fun and I had the time of my life. When I got home I had a message that the 5 year olds school was closed and she needed to be picked up. We now have several inches and I couldn't be happier. I never knew how much I loved the snow till I moved to Kentucky. It doesn't snow big amounts here, but even an inch or two will shut everything down. They are just not equipped to handle the snow here.
I miss my Utah home.

I love the snow too! And I miss my Utah snow! So glad you enjoyed your run! My run was the best too! Went a mile longer than I really needed too because I just felt so darn good. Days like this remind me why I love running SO much! Love ya girlie!

Love the snow too! I ran Nashville and loved it. I found the second half more hilly than the first, but still manageable. It was a really fun race!

I haven't touched snow in like 5+ years!!! We are supposed to get a storm that COULD bring snow down to sea level this weekend and I am sooo excited! I hope it happens :)
