I have taken her on 2 runs now. Each only 1 mile. She is doing really well. My hubby takes her for a 2 mile walk almost every night. She loves it. It's the only exercise my hubby gets. He sits at a desk all day (or runs around solving other peoples problems) and by the time he gets home at 6, he just isn't in the mood for exercise. So after my Kentucky Derby Marathon, we are going to start getting up at 6 am together every morning and do the p90x workouts. I am ready for something to kick my arse. I don't seem to do it to myself.

This is so cute! My dog manages to shed anything we put on him in two seconds flat. I'm impressed.
Coolio! Now that's one hot puppy!
This w/e is a 50 miler
ahhh, she is so cute! Dogs are good for the soul! Nellie is so patient. What a great addition to your family!
CUTE pic!!! My 6-year-old dresses our golden retriever in dress up clothes all the time and he just takes it, lol.
Cute! I love dog pics!!
I'm a sucker for a cutie dog picture. I love it. I'm sure she's just loving the attention. Mine don't even care what you're doing as long as they're included!
So cute! Congrats on taking that next step and getting hubby involved. Can't wait to hear about your results. So looking forward to reading your race review. Hope your sis can get some great pictures, I hope she doesn't mind me volunteering her as your photographer too ;)
Awesome pic!
Glad I found you site, I just love the tat!! That is awesome. I already have mine picked out after my first marathon this year.

sooo cute :)
I need to get a dog for my hub to walk - he's otherwise sorely lacking in exercise.
Problem is, with his long hours, I'd end up having to walk the poor little thing anyway.
That is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I seriously just 'awww'ed out loud :) The Kentucky Derby Marathon sounds fun! I bet you're pumped!
What a cute dog! She looks like a Hollywood Starlett in those sunglasses. Watch out, Paris, you've got competition! (And Nellie is probably much smarter!)
cute pic, and I'm going to try the P90X after my marathon too :)
Nellie certainly has some style!
Too cute!
And the 2 miles your hubs walks with Nellie every night is a lot more than most people get-so good for him. Good luck with your new morning routine.
Hope you're having a great weekend.
Hi Janice. I happened upon your blog through Josh & Amy Forsyth's and since I love running too I've been checking out your blog frequently. I'm from Utah and a mom of girls as well. I currently live in Texas and miss my family soooo much. Also, my brother is Scott Cranney and I realized who you are when I saw Glen's picture. I'm glad that all is well with him. I will be in Utah this summer too and I'm thinking of running DesNews. Wish I could run Bear Lake, it's one of my favorite places to be in the summer. Take care and Happy Running.
