Priceless......

New Running Shoes....... $130

A box of Roctane Gu........$50

Registration for the Kentucky Derby Marathon.......$90

A plane ticket for my twin sister from Utah to Ky....... Priceless

* Since my hubby wont be able to make it to the finish line in 10 days (YAY) I bought my twin sister a plane ticket from Salt Lake City to Louisville (where the race is) to come and cheer me on and to take care of the kids while I am running. I am so excited to have her come out again. (she was just here a month ago)

********************************************************
I am planning on spending some quality time in Utah to visit friends and family this June. I really wanted to run a marathon while I was there. Turns out, my brother in law and my sister are running the Bear Lake Half Marathon on June 13Th. So I just registered for my 9Th Full Marathon. The Bear Lake Marathon sounds beautiful. I am also excited to be able to run part of this race with family members.

I'm so glad you figured out your race day dilemma! And how fun to have your sister out there.
The Bear Lake Marathon sounds fun, if I weren't doing Wasatch Back the next weekend, I'd think about at least doing the half.
And if you're going to be here the next weekend, I heard about a team that has an opening. If you're interested, I can give you more info. Good luck on your Marathon. Don't go to crazy thinking about it.

Yay! I am glad your sister will be at the finish line for you! It is the worst when no one is at the finish line! Good for you, that is priceless. Good luck Janice! Can't wait to read about it!

how cool that you get to have your sister there to cheer you on, although if you just now bought the ticket I'm sure it was pricey....cool deal that there is a marathon for you in Utah too..

That's awesome you'll have your sister there to cheer you on since your hubby can't make it! I'm so jealous! I really wish I could afford to buy someone close to me a ticket to come...i'm stressing and nervous...6 days to go! Are you aiming to qualify for Boston again at this race?! Have a great one!

Wow - the Kentucky Marathon must be a "gold standard" event at $90! I thought that kind of robbery only occurred in Chicago and New York!
