This is mile 5 of the 10 miles I ran... alone today. Don't you love the gold glitter Active Band?!?! I sure do. No..... I did not jump into a pool after my LR. This is what happens when you run at 5:30 am and the temps are 76* and 90% humid.
Were you a sweating mess after your run?

Do you ever create a product that you think could help us runners?
Have you ever watched "Shark Tank"?

seriously. I admire you and Coy for braving the humidity every weekend. I was whining to my mom the whole way home from my run about how I was NEVER going to survive my LRs in KY. haha. you look gorgeous in your running photo...please share your secret with me :) that gold active band is my FAVE!!
Same conditions for me today on my long run--except I only made it 9.25 miles of running! I was SOAKED from head to toe, pretty nasty actually. I love Shark Tank, and there is a British version called Dragon's Den (just as awesome, you should look it up online!)
I was a massive sweaty mess and my clothes stunk after my run! Why does it have to be so hot!?
That looked like me today on my 9 miler. Sweat city...I was COMPLETELY soaked! The humidity is out of control...I don't remember it being this humid last year.
I sweat like CRAZY, shorts dripping & shoe's sloshing by the end of most of my runs this time of year. I have to drink ever 20 min. to keep up. But I'm actually loving the summer sweat fest training (I COULD NOT say that just a few years ago)
I watch Shark Tank. Maybe in addition to gadgets you mentioned some really, really absorbent shoes with a drain pipe in the back????? (love my Drymax socks, but they can't keep up with THIS heat)
I survived running in a NY heatwave and could have beat you in a "sweatiest runner contest" I am sure! :) You look awesome though! I will email you about the activebands. Thanks!
I only saw Shark Tank once but it was fun. I can never remember when it is on. :)
Great job not letting the heat stop you!!
ugh, i'm with you. it's so hot and humid here right now that by mile three i have sweat dripping in my eyes and stinging them. it's awful. i keep wondering what the heck to do about it. so if you come up with something, please share!
